If you love underwater dock lights but find it difficult to keep them clean, the GTX-13,000 LED underwater dock light may be the answer to your problem. Underwater lights which sit on the bottom are difficult to maintain and are vulnerable to fishhooks, props, weeds and silt. The GTX-13000 mounts to the face of your dock which allows the light to be lowered to the preferred depth and rotated 360° in any direction. Lights that sit on the bottom and shine upward lose half of their light as the light projects upward out of the water and into the sky, illuminating the surrounding trees and houses which can be annoying to your neighbors. Since all of the light on the GTX-13,000 shines forward from the dock, all of the light stays in the water illuminating a much wider area around the dock. The mounting bracket allows the light to be easily raised out of the water for cleaning or storage and can be rotated 360° in any direction. The light is available in Green or White and comes with a 120VAC driver with standard AC plug. Since docks and piers vary greatly in design, it’s impossible for us to include a PVC shaft which will work for all applications. Floating docks sit inches off the water while some docks and piers may sit 10 ft off the water, so you will have to go any hardware store and purchase a piece of 1.25″ schedule 40 PVC used for the vertical shaft. Cut the PVC to the desired length (be sure to make it long enough to go as deep as you want) and attach it to the light head by tightening two screws (no glue required). The light kit comes with everything you need including the aluminumMounting Bracket which fits 1.25″ PVC and allows the light to be raised, lowered and turned 360°. The light is made with anodized aluminum and designed to withstand the harshest freshwater or saltwater conditions. PLEASE WATCH VIDEOS BELOW – Not Included:1.25″ Vertical PVCWatch Video’s
