Hi Tom,

I am sending you pics of the reflector for my Magnum light.  They are especially good off a houseboat
or dock. And good anchored on a smaller boat if there's not a lot of boat traffic. Directs the light out at
a 15 degree angle and concretrates the fish and bait out in front.

It is made from 1\64 th aluminum from Lowes.  A 20 buck piece makes two for the Magnum. Used
Stainless Steel machine screws, lock washers and nuts from Lowes as well.  The Light is attached to
the reflector using zinc coated 1 inch conduit hangers.  Polished with 00 grade steel wool and then
metal polish for aluminum from Wal-Mart.

I know the 1\64th aluminum sounds flimsy, but once its bent its quite sturdy. Easily did it with a B&D
workmate table and an angle finder.  Picked 15 degrees because it looked right, of course this could
be easily altered. The reflector for my Aqua Star is identical, just smaller.

Larry Browning
MAGNUM  Light Reflector
Larry Browning from Coeburn, VA came up with a great way of reflecting more light in one
direction using the Magnum Dock Light.  Thanks Larry for the pictures and idea!
Notice: If the vent holes in the Tubes Guards are covered with the bracket, new holes must be
drilled below the brackets in order for the light to properly cool.
WELL I bought a blue filter tube for my AquaStar 12v and for my Magnum.  That color works
REALLY GOOD !!  Got in bait much faster than the green filter or clear.  Overall the blue gets in
bait faster but in the long run I could not tell much difference when it came to catching fish. Both
blue and green consistently worked better than clear.  Keep in mind this is in very clear water
common to the TVA lakes where I fish in northeast Tennessee.  Walleye in particular loved the blue
filter.  Came right up on top to feed !  They came to green to but I did not see any other than on the
"hook".  Stripers, hybirds and crappie came in to a blue light as well, equal to a green.  Walleye and
faster bait was the most noticeable difference.
houseboat.  Cast netted a bunch of bait as well,  used them at daylight to catch 20 more stripers
and hybirds. Pulled a all-nighter and didnt get pics of them,  all were released.  Several over 15lbs
and one 20.
